Artist Note
Sky displays clouds over a blue sky on an analog flip-dot screen. Blue and white dots flip to show clouds traversing a deep blue sky. The slight rustle (reminiscent of a breeze) is the mechanical sound of the flip-dot mechanism. The retro feel of the piece is reminiscent of an 8-bit game from the 80s. Sky contains a personal computer that controls thousands of electromagnets which in turn flip the dots.
